A comment names your gym. A DM mentions your street like it's small talk. You read the message twice, close the app, and then you spend the rest of the day deciding whether it's a thing. And you tell nobody, because saying it out loud makes it real.

So you start paying the quiet tax

Audio-only instead of video. The location you don't tag. The opinion you don't post. The collab you turn down because it means being somewhere at a set time.

Nobody sends you an invoice for the quiet tax.
It comes out of your reach...and your reach = your revenue.

Why nothing you’ve tried covers this

Three things are true about how creators actually get found, and every off-the-shelf answer misses at least one of them.

The usual advice assumes you want to go dark

Delete the accounts, use a fake name, go private. Sure...but the algorithm buries you by Friday, and there goes your livelihood.

Removal services only reach so far

They don’t touch public records (or other public exposures) and they never look at what your own posts give away.

IT'S ALREADY HAPPENED TO SOMEONE YOU KNOW

The DM that knew too much. The gift that turned up at an address nobody published. You know this story, and you know how it escalates.

Doing nothing is a plan too. It works right up until the day it doesn't. And then you're Googling two-factor authentication at 2am, doing all of this at once, with no idea whether you found everything (or if you're doing it right)...

Enter Shadow
Removal services help you disappear. Shadow is built for staying out there.

Getting off the people search sites is step one, and it's part of the work... we walk you through the pros and cons of paying a service versus doing it yourself, and help you pick. Then comes everything removal can't touch: public records, platform settings, your own on-camera habits, the exposure that grows back.

Privacy for creators without going dark
What Shadow is

Shadow is a personalized privacy system for creators and public-facing professionals. It starts with who you are, where you live, and what you publish, then walks you through the plan it builds for you, about fifteen minutes at a time.

This is the same system we run with our one-on-one clients — the same threat assessment, the same investigation method, the same order of operations — built from real casework and rebuilt so you can run it yourself.

The point isn't to hand the work to somebody else. It's to make you the person who knows how you get found: what to look at, what it means, and what to do about it. Whatever else changes, you keep the skill.

Built around you and your platform

A streamer in a rented apartment and a consultant who owns her house have almost nothing in common on this.

Your plan is ordered by your worst exposure, not by whatever's easiest to write a guide about.

You learn it while you're doing it

It's built around action, habits and skills. It isn't a course.

We explain the root cause of an exposure, walk you through the fix, and the tools run the check with you, so the instinct stays after the task is done.

Why Shadow is a yearly subscription

Privacy isn't a project you finish, it's always moving. The landscape changes, your platform changes and the tactics and tools need to change too.

The landscape moves

Platforms rewrite their settings, counties change their forms, new search sites appear. Your guides get rewritten as it happens, and new playbooks and tools ship all year.

Exposure grows back

New exposures pop up and old problems resurface. Shadow tells you when something needs checking again, and walks you through the re-check.

Your life changes

A move, a kid, a new platform, a launch. Each one reshuffles what matters, and your plan reorders itself to match.

After six months of Shadow,
here’s what’s different:
TodayIn six months

A search connects your handle to a listing, a property record, and a front door.

becomes
A stranger gets your city, not your doorstep.

Footage sits unposted because you’re not sure what’s in the frame, or what's really at risk if you post it.

becomes
You check it in a minute, then post it.

One odd message eats a week of your attention, and you sit with it alone.

becomes
A weird DM costs you ten minutes, not a week.

People search sites route straight through your mom, and your editor holds your passwords.

becomes
Nobody gets to you through the people around you.

What you get

Three steps to get set up, then a system that keeps working and responding to your situation. Everything inside is personalized to you, your platforms and your content.

How it works
01
You tell us who you are

The Creator Risk Profile and Creator Threat Profile: where you show up, what you make, who you are... and who is most likely to come looking, what they could damage if they did.

02
We hand you your plan

Your exposures, prioritized to your situation, with the exact playbooks and guides for your platforms and your location attached to each one.

03
You work it, fifteen minutes at a time

Each activity explains how the exposure works, gives you the tradeoffs so you can make the right decision for you, then walks you through closing it. You finish with the thing fixed, not a reading list. The plan reorders itself when your life changes.

INTERACTIVE PLAYBOOKS, SKILLS & TOOLS

Stalker-Free Selfies · How a Stranger Finds Your Front Door · The Decoy Address · Whack-A-Broker · When You Start Doing Video · When Something Feels Off · When a Fan Gets Too Close · Protect Your Kids, Your Family, Your Team.

SCOUT SELF-INVESTIGATION TOOLS

Search yourself the way a stranger would  (people search listings, county records, voter files, old usernames, photo details, archived pages) and get back a cleanup list ranked worst first, each item with its removal step attached.

Location & platform guides

The setting YouTube buried five menus deep. The form your county actually accepts. Written per platform and per location, kept current.

Re-checks and updates, all year

New sources to check, rewritten guides, new playbooks and tools. Everything we add while you’re subscribed is included.

Location guide — written for your state
A location guide: what your state's law already handles, and what's still out there
Interactive checklist — one fix at a time
An interactive checklist: sorted quickest first, each fix with its effort and protection payoff
How much support you get
YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THIS ALONE
Solo gives you the whole system. Everything above, and you run it yourself.
Supported gives you someone to check your work. The weird DM, the odd comment, the judgment calls you'd rather not make alone... send it over and somebody who does this all day answers in writing, so you have something you can act on and keep. Unlimited, all year.
VIP jumps the queue, gets a professional investigation, and adds quarterly live calls, so the bigger decisions get a conversation instead of a thread.
The kind of thing you'd send us
“Someone tagged the cross street of my building in a comment. Do I report it, delete it, or leave it alone?”
“I’m moving my main channel to Twitch next month. What do I lock down before the first stream?”
“My new editor needs access to everything. How do I hand that over without handing over my whole life?”
“A brand I haven’t worked with sent this proposal and something feels off. Is this legit?”
Why trust us?

Fair question. You’re about to tell us how findable you are, so here’s who’s asking.

FOUNDER · FORMER USAF SENIOR SECURITY ADVISOR, ANTITERRORISM & THREAT ASSESSMENT

Hi, I'm Susan. I spent years in security and antiterrorism for the US Air Force, designing threat assessment systems and learning how bad actors think, plan, and find their targets. I have a master's in Criminal Justice, and I know exactly how digital exposure becomes physical risk.

I'm also a creator: a decade building businesses, hosting the Calm is the New KPI podcast, showing up online. I know what it's like to post something and wonder if it gave away too much. We've helped people rebuild after being doxxed, stalked, harassed.

We know what it costs to disappear from the internet, and what it costs to stay.
We want you prepared, not scared.

SHADOW IS BUILT THE WAY WE TELL YOU TO BUILD
Our own servers in Switzerland, no US big-tech platforms in the stack, and a vendor list short enough that we can name every company on it and what it sees.
Your answers, findings, location and support threads are encrypted at rest. Break into our database and you get ciphertext, not a list of where creators live.
Export everything we hold about you, or delete it, whenever you decide. And when we can’t fix something, we say so directly and help you pick the best mitigation instead.
What this costs one-on-one

An investigation with our team starts at $2,500. Ongoing retainer work starts at $5,000 a month. Same method, same people. Shadow is that work rebuilt so you can run it, at a price a creator can actually carry.

Is Shadow for you?
Shadow is for you if…
  • You film, stream, or take deliveries where you sleep.
  • Your visibility is about to jump — a launch, a tour, more video, a move.
  • You already paid a removal service and your address still comes up.
  • Other people are in your frame: kids, a partner, an editor holding your passwords.
  • You’d rather understand how you get found than outsource it forever.
It probably isn’t if…
  • × Someone is threatening you right now. Local police and a victim-advocacy organization come first.
  • × You want to disappear completely. Going dark is a different project.
  • × You want alerts instead of answers. Nothing here monitors your accounts, on purpose.
  • × You want zero homework. Even VIP has homework — if you’d rather hand the whole thing off, that’s our 1:1 investigation and services work.
  • × You need a guarantee. Nobody can promise you’ll be safe, so we won’t.
Get early access to Shadow

We're inviting people from the list one at a time, in small groups, so the first creators in get real attention and their feedback shapes what ships next. Put your name down and you'll hear from us before anyone else.

FAQ
When does access open?

We're not putting a date on it. We're inviting people off the list one at a time instead of opening the doors all at once, so the people who are in get real attention. Join the list and you'll hear from us first.

How much time does this take?

About fifteen minutes at a time - we try to make the work bite-sized. Your plan orders the work worst first, so the most important fixes happen earliest. You set the pace.

What do I get during the year?

Updates and re-checks. New sources to search, rewritten platform and location guides, new playbooks, new tools. Exposure grows back, so Shadow also tells you when something needs checking again and walks you through it. Everything we add while you’re subscribed is included.

What does joining the list cost?

Nothing. It's an email address. You'll get your invite with the tiers and the price, and you decide then. No payment now, no obligation later.

Do I have to do it in order?

No. Start with the Creator Risk Profile, then go where it points. Everything is open from day one, so the plan is our best recommendation for your situation, not a lock.

Why invite people one at a time?

Because the first creators in are also our beta testers. Small groups mean we can watch where the system trips people up, sit with those people, and fix it before the next group comes in.

I’m outside the US. Will this work?

Some of it. Playbooks and platform guides travel well. Location guides and legal specifics are US-focused today, with UK and Canada planned next.

Do you store my answers?

Yes, encrypted at rest, on servers we control in Switzerland. Export everything we hold about you, or delete it, whenever you decide.
