You decide
what's public

Going private isn't an option when being public is the job.
Instead, go unpublic, so you can create loudly + live privately.

If you create publicly...

This is what you deal with:

"Someone in my comments mentioned my street name."

"A package I didn't order showed up at my door."

"My mom got a call from someone pretending to know me."

"I check the background of every shot before I post."

"I can't tell which DMs are fans and which are problems."

"A guy at my meet-and-greet knew way too much about me."

It all started with a phone call to someone's mom

A creator I know hit 20,000 subscribers on YouTube. Not super big.

But someone called her mom pretending to be a friend. He knew details about her life. And he had her mom's number.

She'd already followed all the common advice: set up a PO Box, used a registered agent, etc. But it didn't matter. The guy still found her. That was scary.

As creators, the safety advice that's out there is all ad-hoc tips & tricks (which don't add up to a cohesive protection strategy) or just to disappear. But when your job is to be public, neither one of those options is good enough.

I spent years in law enforcement and threat assessment, learning how even the most cautious people get found. I'm also a working creator with my own audience, so I know you can't just go dark.

That's why I built Unpublic. It's for people who have to show up publicly, while still living privately.

About us

Work with us

How much do you want to do yourself? Some folks want to learn it or do it themselves. Some folks want it handled.

Investigation

Scout

We investigate you like a potential stalker would, then walk you through everything we found on a live call.

  • See what's findable about you, and how it could lead someone to your door
  • Find out who's most likely to come looking, and what they'd go after
  • Leave with a plan in priority order, including what you can stop worrying about

Do it yourself

Shadow

A hyper-personalized privacy program you run yourself. Shadow is tailored to your platform, your specific situations, and your risk tolerance. It's the same systems and tools we use with our 1:1 clients, built to let you run it yourself.

  • Close your exposures worst first, about fifteen minutes at a time
  • Learn how people get found, so the instinct stays after the fix is done
  • Go DIY, or choose Done with support and we're riding shotgun for every weird DM and judgment call

Done for you

Sightline

Your fractional privacy, security and safety team. We do the work, keep watch as you grow, and step in when something happens. You make the content. We'll handle the weirdos.

  • Custom built playbooks so you (and your team) know exactly how to respond to any situation
  • The accounts your income runs on, locked down, with a plan to get them back fast
  • An expert on call who already knows your life. Forward the weird DM and get back to work.
